Summer Solstice Bike Ride

Mammoth to Truckee

When Spring bleeds into Summer, the snow thaws, and the sun graces us with its presence more and more, I long to be outside. 

With that fact in mind, I love planning trips around the Summer Solstice (June 21).

This year, I found a running race in Tahoe

on June 18, and decided I should bike

there and back.

On the way there, I took a photo every hour, on the hour, hoping to capture the longest day of the year temporally and visually.
